By watching your videos I get to see how you think and lay out the html and css in a way that makes sense. I used to use Dreamweaver 8 and I still have it on my Windows hard drive, but I spend most of my time using Ubuntu Linux so I've been using Bluefish for my web editor.

For many years I learned how to build websites w/ Dreamweaver the wrong way. So now through your videos I'm slowing starting to build website correctly and will be free of any web building program.

Have watched all videos and am really impressed! There were a few things ( well maybe more than a few ) that I was unclear about, but they are " crystal clear now " . So I can only speak for myself, but to me the course is money well spent. I am now running 7 web sites in my spare time, all of which I first Designed in the devils sporn, " frames" but now use css and all sites have been indexed without having to submit them to google.
I have your courses to thank for that so keep up the excellent work.

Fantastic.. I was a little confused at first, but that was because I have been creating web sites working in layers and appling css to these individualy

Your teaching method is good, you go on at a nice pace which is clear and understandable. You do not chatter on which is good. I once had a tutorial where you would follow along and then the guy suddenly anounces, "oh no, I didn't mean to do that" " do this" and then he goes and undoes a whole load of code that ...........blah blah blah. these sort of tutorials are exasperating and unpleasant. Your tutorials are very good.

I though i was bored with website design, since there was not much creativity involved with the use of tables. before purchasing your material on css, i was using css for fonts and links basically...

But with all advantages to employ css styles, i recognize the power beyond this and i would say it gives me a renew sens of creativity and the drive to perhaps myself teach in french the emplementation of css..plus Joomla is really turning around 2 by implementing tabless designs..good 4 us.

Up until now I have been an html table guy, because that is what I have always done for page layouts and all I have known. I am now a converted CSS guy, your courses have made this possible, Thanks to the "How to Master CSS" course. The manual, videos, tips and tricks, layouts and the list goes on, are priceless assets for referencing during the learning process and later, while working on projects.
I am struggling a bit with working with images that are not being used as backgrounds, finding getting positioning difficult, but I am sure I will conquer this.
On a whole, I just think it is brilliant, excellent stuff, money well spent. Thank you Hilco for sharing your knowledge, and doing this in such a simple to understand manner, providing bountiful resource access and keeping it very affordable.

I have now been through all the videos and have reconstructed all the 4 layouts you demonstrate but with reference to your CSS. Did each one step by step and checked result very frequently, so that I could get a grasp of what was happening. Next I am going to try and reconstruct again but without reference to your CSS!!

I very novice at building website and have only recently taught myself a very basic level of HTML... I purchased your course as I struggled to read about CSS and wanted to be shown.

The format of the course was great I learnt more in a few minutes of watching your videos, than in numerous hours of trying to read dry text.

In essense I bought this course to learn more about css and in doing so have built so much confidence that I am coding my own sites without any WYSIWYG software... in html and css. I only wish you offered other Flash etc courses...

I love this program! It is making clear to me so many things of which I did have questions before. I was totally indoctrinated into the tables paradigm for developing websites, CSS was mostly just a bit of frosting. Now I am now working on a blog and a couple of websites without tables and this resource has made it so much more easier. When I am at a loss of what comes next I just watch one of the videos.

I recommend your CSS course, I have found it to be well thought out,  not too intimidating, but going into enough detail to really  understand what is going on....  The movies are helpful.

Your command of English is excellent - you do have an accent, but it  does not detract from the presentation, so I don't think it's an issue.

The real time editor is a great tool, I am just now getting used to  coding by hand, as I've used Dreamweaver for quite a while.  It's a  great value, I'm happy I made the investment.... Let me know what  else you are up to.

I'm about one third of the way through the main book, How To Master CSS.  It's been great! 

I think all the tools that you supply along with the book are just wonderful.  I'm a very visual learner and the videos really help solidify what the book is saying.  The CSS Editor is great!  I like being able to test and see results right away.

The Bonus info in the CSS Resources is worth it's weight in gold!  Like I said, I am a very visual learner and have searched the web for free templates to download and examine in helping me create my own.

Then last but not least.... the price.  You make it so affordable.  Overall, you score an A+ with me!  Keep up the good work.  I'll be back to your site often to see what else you have added.

I have already used some of your techniques on tables for a project I worked on, here where I work, and it practically saved me from fooliness (I hate to say) since I was using the old-fashioned tedious table to put information into. I really liked the example on the 'odd' row being a pale blue. So, I did that and it worked very well for me.

CSS tables are nicer and cleaner to work with.  Yes,I would have to say that your book, examples, and flash files were a major help to me, so it was well worth the money.

Hopefully, you will soon come out with an advanced version of your book, not that I need it right now, but maybe later as now I am hooked on CSS and its power and can't seem to get enough!

Here is a book that I think everyone should read, if interested in learning CSS.  I have purchased 8 books of CSS in the last several months, until I came to yours.  I thought when I saw yours that it was just another CSS book, since all the others were absolutely confusing me.  Out of all the books I purchased, yours is the one I value the most.  WHY?  It takes you STEP-BY-STEP within the book and within the videos, so your can actually DO the coding along with the author.  None of the other books I have even attempt to do that.

So far there are two aspects which have made website maintenance and creation easier for me. The first is that I am able for the first time to fully understand, and therefore manipulate, templates created by other people.

The second is that I am relying less and less on pre-made templates, bcause it is becoming so simple to create my own. All in all I count this as some of the best money I have spent this year. Best wishes

When I saw the advert for this book I was put off by the cheap price in the belief that nothing priced so low would be of any value. I had bought some other training products on the subject of CSS that gave virtually no useful information.

However I thought to myself if I can get one or two good ideas from the book it could be worthwhile. Much to my surprise I found learning opportunities on virtually every page of the 150 page book (and I did not even count the pages in all the extras which were all great).

The videos were very informative and clear so they were very easy to follow. Just seeing it being put together made the difference between theory and practice. Loved the templates will be putting number 4 into a new site I will get back to shortly when I complete an existing urgent project. I am not a natural designer but I know the content will fit this style.

What do I think about your product?

I would recommend it to anyone interested in web design irrespective of their current level of knowledge. I know it will prove to be invaluable to them as it was to me.
